This beautiful bespoke timber Garden Studio is one of the main features of this large garden in Wrightington, Lancashire. The site was cleared & prepared by PDG Groundworks. Strip footings were excavated & the foundation walls were formed to the size of the building, also retaining walls were constructed to retain the stone hardcore for the patio area. This was due to the location of the site being considerably out of level. The timber frame building was erected & fixed to the concrete floor slab. The patio area was constructed using 30mm 450 x R/L Tower Flamed sandstone paving slabs supplied by Stockscape. All the underside of the stone paving was brushed with a pre mix primer & laid on a full polymer bedding mix. The sub base consisted of a compacted type 1 MOT hardcore with 50mm sand & cement screed. The completed laid stone was cleaned, sealed & grouted with GftK 800 epoxy resin 2 pack mix, colour Basalt.
