This prestigious design and build project began with contact from the client requesting a garden design. After an initial visit we surveyed the garden, took levels, etc. and a full client brief. Further visits were made with sketch designs and ultimately this led to full working drawings approved by the clients. Attention to detail with fine paving is key to its success. The paving, which consisted of Blackwell Buff sawn sandstone slabs and Tower sawn & flamed sandstone and tumbled sets, was laid on a sand cement mix over MOT Type 1 Roadstone base and were jointed and pointed with ‘Geofix’. These projects also included stone seats, provision for garden lighting, planting and lawn construction.
