David Harber RHS Stand

We were thrilled to be involved in the David Harber scultpure garden at Chelsea 2013.  Everyone admires David Harbers work and Ridley Dunstall Naybour produced a design to really showcase 12 of his sculptures.  We worked closely with Ridley Dunstal Naybour to select the best option to work well with all the other elements in the garden.

The sculptures needed to take centre stage so the paving material had to provide a neutral base to allow everything else to come together.

Quinton Buff offered a neutral base with brown and rust veining which tied in well with the metals used in some of Davids pieces and the rich painted walling.  We cut some of our Quinton Buff paving into setts to add a change in texture for the entrance pathways, demonstrating the flexibility of our ‘stock’ offering.

The paving was installed by Martin Silva landscapes, Stockscape were pleased that the stand was awarded a trophy for Excellence of Presentation by the RHS!

Quinton Buff is the perfect buff with a little variation to keep it exciting.  It can be combined with other materials to add interest or used alone to produce a striking, simple patio.
